About this house rental
Champ de la Fontaine is far away from the crowds. An old farmhouse from 1880 located in the heart of the Morvan regional nature park. The estate is situated in the hills between extensive woodland, meadows and a local nature reserve. The air is pure and the nights are dark with beautiful starry skies.
The terrain consists of 7 hectares of pasture on which a herd of Corsican sheep grazes.
The spacious and comfortable holiday home for up to 4 people is located in one of the outbuildings on our site and was tastefully renovated in 2017. Downstairs is a living room with adjoining kitchen with two luxurious sofas and a wood burning stove. The kitchen is equipped with a 5-burner gas stove with electric oven, a dishwasher and many kitchen utensils. A spacious dining table invites you to long meals. The bathroom is comfortable with underfloor heating, a bathtub for two, a walk-in shower, a toilet and a large sink.
The upper floor has an office corner, a spacious bedroom with two single beds and a large bedroom of 50m2 with a double bed.
The gite has its own garden and terrace on the south with lots of privacy and a beautiful view. The garden is equipped with a lounge set and a garden table and chairs.
Wireless internet is available in the gite.

We have very much enjoyed the Gîte (offers plenty of space, complete furnished kitchen, private terrace).
The area around is just pure countryside, ideal spot to start hiking or biking tours.
The two hosts are ultra friendly and very obliging.
We could very likely imagine to come back.

Séjour très agréable à la campagne où nous avons été très bien accueillis !!! Notre petite-fille a beaucoup apprécié la proximité de la bergerie où moutons, brebis et agneaux co-habitaient…
Un petit jardin nous a permis de profiter de la vue sur la campagne et des rayons de soleil généreux du week-end de Pâques.
