Totally renewed wide and elegant flat situated in the historic centre of Bologna In via Santo Stefano 88, one of the most central streets . Entrance in the living room with venetian floors and wooden beams inclusive of a dining area, a single sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchenette. The bedroom is provided with a comfortable king size bed and a large, marbled bathroom. Ample terrace overlooking the courtyard, away from street noise. Pets allowed with a supplement of 20.00 per pet per stay

HOW TO REACH SANTO STEFANO APARTMENTS: By taxi from Bologna Airport: 25/30 euro and between 25 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. By Taxi from the Train station: 15 euro and between 15 to 20 minutes. BY BUS: from the train station take line 11 and get off at Fondazza stop. 1.50 euro, about 20 minutes. BY CAR: Santo Stefano Apartments is located just inside the Limited traffic area (ZTL). IF you want to park on the street on the blue stripes please set your GPS at Via Dante 2 so to avoid the limited traffic area. From there you will reach the apartment on foot by turning to the right. GARAGE: Garage degli Angeli. Our guests pay 20 euro per vehicle per night. The garage is 3 minutes away by foot from Santo Stefano Apartments. The garage is inside the limited traffic area but they will provide you with a permit ( included in the price) to avoid any fines. Garage degli Angeli Address: Via degli Angeli 16. The apartment is in a restricted zone so you can’t drive to it. You have to park quite a distance. We cancelled our car rental and had a private driver drop us at the apartment and pick us up when we left. There was quite a large fee for him to bring his car there. There weee no written instructions for the air conditioner so we were unable to operate it. The remote for the AC did not work. On the good side it was a very nice apartment with a really great hot shower. The location was within walking distance of lots of attractions and good restaurants. The people who met us when we arrived were very nice.

Ideal location for a peaceful stay within walking distance to everything. The photos are quite accurate, but don't expect to spend much time on the little terrace - just isn't inspirational as it faces a small internal area - surrounded by other apartments. The kitchen is adequate for basics like breakfast. The sleeping area is cozy but the bed way too hard. Overall, we loved Bologna and the location so can overlook the negatives. For Americans with T-Mobile, don't expect much connectivity in Bologna. It was a big surprise to struggle constantly for any service.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Parking our car was a nightmare. A good 20 minute walk to the center. Hallway lights were dark even after it was communicated. Apartment was clean and had an elevator which was good.
