The location in central Bath, just a short walk from all the shops and restaurants is excellent. The historic street it's in really feels like you've stepped back in time. For a large group the size of the house is great and it has loads of character. All amenities are provided and some basic provisions in the cupboard, with a choice of supermarkets just a short walk away. The house is a very old lady though and you need to be gentle with her. Linen was clean and beds were comfy.
The house is clean as long as you don't look too closely, e.g. down the radiators. There's no parking. It was a bit tricky getting the water temperature right in the showers. One of the beds is billed as a double but is only a queen bed so was a bit too tight for 2 sister in laws to share. On the upside there is a put-you-up bed in a ground floor lounge which came in handy.

Location was perfect. So central and yet really quiet.
There is a leak from the toilet pedestal in the back bathroom. My impression is that it has probably been leaking slowly for a long time, judging by the blackened grout between the floor tiles, which were permanently damp.

spotlessly clean. location was perfect for visiting Bath, everything was within walking distance. Homely family feel to property.
Double bedrooms were the smallest bedrooms but all rooms well laid out.
