About this chalet rental
In the Vosges, in Xonrupt Longemer (3 km from Gérardmer), the cottage of the lake, the Lamartine, beautiful independent cottage, with very nice view on Lake Longemer, and on the Hohneck mountain, against the forest.
Ideal for relaxing in an exceptional location. It has a small garden. First lake beach has 200m.
Also ideal to withstand heat waves.
Christmas-February holiday- summer loc. à la sem (7 days min)
Gerardmer stations at 10mns and Hohneck La Bresse at 15 mns. Close Wine Route and Alsace
It is set against the forest with a beautiful view. It has all the amenities.
Ideal for a relaxing break away from the noise, pollution and crowds.
A large living room with fireplace overlooking the lake and the Hohneck, a fully equipped kitchen overlooking the forest.
Two bedrooms for 2 people: 1 double bed (140cm) in the first and 2 single beds (90cm) in the second, a bathroom and separate WC,
A fireplace, television, DVD player, oven, hotplates, fridge, kettle, filter coffee machine,, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, barbecue in summer and table in the private garden, etc...
Additional costs: actual electricity consumption
Cleaning package of 50 euros: sum to be paid on site
For sheets and towels (if you do not bring them yourself): possibility to rent them (sheets: 15 euros per bed, towels 8 euros per person)
Please bring your own towels for the dishes.
Our animal friends are welcome: 20 euros (for to the the french association for pets of the valley):
Walks:
Tour of Xonrupt Lake (at the foot of the chalet) approximately 60 minutes or Retournemer (next lake) on foot
Lac des Corbeaux in La Bresse (at the entrance to the village: 12 km)
Trout lake: pass through Hohneck then take the ridge road….

Auberge Lorraine in Valtin (7 km from the chalet) good, friendly, inexpensive
Gerardmer supermarkets are open on Sunday morning
Fishing: fishing cards to buy at the Xonrupt Longemer tobacco shop (opposite the caterer)
If you have more time: wine route (Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé) 45 minutes by car
as well as Colmar
Not far from there, Eagle Flight, Monkey Mountain, Haut Koenigsbourg (go through the Sainte Marie tunnel)... About an hour from the chalet

Local Eurodisney but very pretty, nice and simple. A pleasure for children. And EuropaPark an hour and 20 minutes away in Germany.

Gerardmer equestrian center Chemin du Sapois, Horse and pony rides, walks in the forest and by the lake.

In Xonrupt Longemer “au Poli”, a total of 6 km of slopes, divided between 4 slopes, 3 blue and 1 green, 2 ski lifts.
In Gerardmer (5 km) “La moselaine” 20 trails for all levels extended over 40 km and set out in the middle of fir forests.
In La Bresse (15 km) ski area of 220 hectares between altitudes of 900 m and 1350 m, its 37 slopes including 11 red and 1 black, its Snowpark and its 100 km of cross-country skiing connected to the areas of Lispach and by Xonrupt Longemer.

If you don't ski: in Xonrupt-Longemer, Maison des Petits de Xonrupt, for children from 2 months to 4 years old.

Die Übernahme des Chalet war problemlos. Die Lage des Objektes ist einfach super. Trotz der entlang führenden Straße, haben wir von den Straßengeräuschen nicht viel mitbekommen. Ein dicker Tannenzaun entlang des Hauses ist Sichtschutz und wir fühlten uns von den Straßengeräuschen nicht belästigt. 👍 Das Chalet ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Wir denken noch immer mit Wehmut an diese schönen Tage zurück 👏👍 Erwähnen sollte ich noch die Bademöglichkeit nur ein paar Meter weiter am See, auch mit Hund!!!

Das Haus hat eine super schöne Lage. Hier gibt es volle Punktzahl.Wir sind im Urlaub immer in einer Hütte in den Bergen. Das soll heißen das uns ein wenig Schmutz nicht stört.
Aber von Sauberkeit kann man in diesem Haus nicht sprechen. Das Bad/Toilette wurden schon länger nicht richtig gereinigt. Die Fensterrahmen gehören auch dazu. Und die Krönung ist die Küche. Geräte alles da und sauber. Aber die Schränke innen das Geschirr, Töpfe, Gläser alles klebt und ist schmutzig. Ein Haus mit sehr viel Potenzial. Wenn es richtig sauber wäre.
