A special night away in Hathersage for my birthday. Spacious room, very clean with everything required for a comfortable stay. Great drencher shower! Such a treat for the dogs to come too at no extra cost! 😊

Very pleasant stay in a double room. Shower was excellent, breakfast was great too.
The bed is a double not a king and very soft. We actually preferred the firmer king bed in the travelodge the previous night but thats personal taste. The surroundings were, of course, much more salubrious and the hotel is right in town.

The Little John is an ideal base to explore the Hope valley and beyond, the room was comfy and nice bathroom, the buffet breakfast is excellent, the staff are friendly and the pub does variety of meals and beers, will definitely be back.
