We stayed here for our 5-year anniversary and I am in love with the property and its staff. The hotel is a prime location in Richmond and its proximity to the park and the views from the balcony were outstanding. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant is outstanding. The general manager wrote a handwritten letter to congratulate us which made the sentiment so personalized and special.
The facilities of the bedroom need a few repairs.

Location wonderful, hotel itself lovely, staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Only one small thing was not up to standard. I ordered a Caesar salad from room service, ) one that I’ve had before at the hotel), and it was very poor, actually inedible. The chicken was hard and dry it looked very old! As if it had been cut days before and left uncovered. There was no Caesar dressing or Parmesan. Hardly any lettuce. Nothing like the one I’d had before.

Beautiful building and setting and very comfortable bed and pillows.
Room was smaller than my bedroom at home and tiny bathroom and wardrobe area. Scaffolding at the window which was a bit unsightly and no breakfast included in stay.
