Clean, small but comfortable room. Good buffet breakfast. Ideal to reach Grenoble (close to the rail station), and to ski at Chamrousse (close to the bus station).

My stay in Lyon was my first trip to France, and while the city was beautiful, my experience at this hotel was unfortunately marred by a significant issue.
The hotel has a strict policy of not providing basic housekeeping (including trash removal) for stays of less than seven days. While I understand the desire for efficiency and reduced environmental impact, this policy is impractical and unhygienic for a multi-night stay.
I stayed for four nights, and by the second day, the small trash bin in my room was completely full and began to overflow. I was left to manage my own waste without any clear disposal method. This poses a clear concern for pest control and overall room cleanliness. I can only imagine the state of a room by the seventh day, when housekeeping would finally be scheduled.
The hotel's location was convenient, and the initial room was clean. However, the refusal to perform a basic service like emptying the trash for a paying guest is unacceptable. For the price, I expected a minimum standard of hygiene and service.
I would not recommend this hotel for stays longer than one or two nights unless this policy is changed.
