Well modernised bathroom and large kitchen were plus points. Comfortable beds with good duvets. Enjoyed the DVD collection (but there were no subtitles on TV for one hard of hearing guest).
Kitchen equipment took some understanding; we never did master the microwave! There was no plug for the sink so we had to use a piece of plastic to wash up and the flip-flop plug in the wash basin upstairs would not stay down so hands had to be washed under a running tap.
It was not obvious in the photos that the cottage is on a busy road with many HGVs. Nowhere safe to go for a stroll.

Lovely cottage well located

The cottage was reasonable and for the purpose of my visit the location was good. However, it isn't very near the town centre if you're not a seasoned walker and expect to walk to town within minutes.
Communication with the cottage owner was limited. The mattress in the back bedroom could do with an upgrade as it's a bit lumpy and tired. The microwave is basic and doesn't heat food well. The cottage wasn't ready for check-in on arrival.
