About this house rental
This friendly holiday home is located in the hills between Subbiano and Rassina (7 km each), surrounded by olive groves, fields and a small oak grove. You enter the entrance area via the covered terrace; the bedrooms, the living room with balcony and the two bathrooms are on the 1st floor. The large eat-in kitchen is at ground level, with a separate entrance. On the extensive natural grounds you will find peace and quiet and a small footpath leads down to the torrent (100 m) - bathing fun for young and old. There is space and opportunity for all kinds of ball games, a garden seating area and parking at the house. From everywhere you can enjoy a beautiful view over the hills and the Castello di Valenzano. The perfect destination for guests who want to make themselves at home in a little piece of paradise. Visit and experience the medieval old town of Arezzo (20 km) - e.g. while strolling through the Corso, visiting the cathedral, Pieve and church of San Francesco, which are well worth seeing, and of course enjoying an aperitif in the piazza. Numerous trattorias offer local delicacies. In June and September, the traditional Saracino equestrian games take place in the Piazza Grande; on the first weekend of every month, the whole old town centre comes alive with the large national antiques market. Discover the charming towns, castles and borghi of Casentino, such as Bibbiena (15 km) or Poppi (20 km) and visit the Franciscan monastery of La Verna. The Casentino Nature Park invites you to hike in the mountains, through centuries-old oak and beech forests. In Subbiano and Rassina (7 km each) there are shops of all kinds and a colourful weekly market.
