About this house rental
Ca 'Bell'Isola is the cadastral name of this large farmhouse of the Napoleonic era, which overlooks the Sillaro valley, with spectacular views of a piece of the Apennines between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.
200 square meters of house with 200 square meters of loft next to it for parties or events, and 6000 square meters of garden and oak grove. The house is located in the hills south of Castel San Pietro, about 45 minutes from the eastern part of Bologna.
Bell'Isola is an isolated house, where silence reigns. The provincial road 21 Castel San Pietro - Sassoleone flows a few meters below. Around the house, a lawn and a forest of 40 oaks, three alyanthus, a poplar. And tamarisks, both in front of and behind the house. Inside, on the first floor, four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor, which can accommodate up to 8 people, plus kitchen and a spectacular dining room for up to 14 people. On the ground floor, a secondary guest bedroom for 3, a small bathroom, the fireplace room (called "John Wayne Room") and a large living room with additional 4-5 beds for large groups.
We rent the whole house. Around the house, guests can move in the courtyard, but not move in the Ca 'Domenicali hunting estate, where Bell'Isola is located
In the house there are all the indications to move around, the services of the valley, the places to go to bathe the river etc. To those who book we send a list of restaurants in the area.
Ideal home for short stays in the countryside with friends, to relax, go to the nearby Terme dell'Agriturismo or to the Oasis of Zello, swim at Sillaro between late May and mid-July, explore the nearby areas (Dozza, Piancaldoli, Imola, the wind farm, rio Zafferino, Castel Del Rio). The attached 200-meter shed is perfect for courses, parties, seminars ... or for a rock concert rehearsal.

Everything about the house, area, food, wine, Boar, Deer, Wolves, Marinella (support), and Marco (host), was awesome! If you need to reset, unwind, relax, slow down, chill out and connect with nature, this is the place! We don’t really want to share this with anyone else other than Marinella & Marco’s family; but hey! Awesome - Thank you!!!!

Bell’isola is a magical farmhouse in the hills of Bologna. A fantastic base from where you can explore Bologna and the surrounding areas. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and Marco is a wonderful host with fantastic communication and helpful information. We will most definitely be staying again. 5 stars all the way
