Pleasant apartment to live in in a charming little village 100 metres from the ski lifts for people wishing to go skiing. Personally we rented this apartment for hiking during the fall period and we had the chance to walk on the first snows in a beautiful setting. For those wishing to cook on site, supermarkets are located 20 minutes away on foot. The locals seems very friendly. Thank you Roberto for the advice about the restaurant and for your kindness. My friend and I have a very good stay.

Our group loved the apartment which is in a beautiful village in stunning surroundings. The apartment is compact but was the perfect accommodation to come back to after snowboarding each day. It’s well equipped and the kitchen facilities mean that you have the choice of eating out or eating in. The apartment is warm, plenty of hot water, storage for snowboard/skis in the basement and has good facilities, including wifi.
Great pizzeria in Jouvenceaux… would def recommend that. Aside from that, there aren’t many bars and restaurants in Jouvenceaux, so we walked up to Sauze on a couple of evenings. Bit of a steep walk, but worth it for a fun night out.
As we visited during the last week in March, the Jouvenceaux chairlift to the Sauze D’Oulx ski area was only open for the first day of the six days that we were there. This wasn’t a problem for us because we had a car, but worth keeping in mind if you’re visiting late in the season without a car.
We hired a car which really helped, and would recommend this for anyone staying in Jouvenceaux. We could drive up to Sauze to get the chairlift or pick up supplies, and it also meant we could drive over to Sestriere and Montgenevre, both of which are great. The ski link from Sauze to Sestriere was closed, so the car came in really handy… even though it was a bit of a squeeze getting 4 guys and snowboards into an Opel Karl (where there’s a will there’s a way).
Really good communication from the owner Roberto prior to our visit and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment to others, and would be more than happy to stay again. Grazie Roberto.
