Les jardins de Beaumont

Accommodatie gelegen in rustige woonwijk. Prachtige tuin

Het ontbijt was schitterend: heel lekkere yoghurt, gezond notenbrood. Het huis is mooi temidden van een prachtige tuin. De gastvrouw is zeer behulpzaam!

Petit déjeuner très copieux. Accueil chaleureux. Propriétaire à l’écoute. C’est un lieu à recommander même pour un passage rapide comme c’était le cas.

Location is in the nice area, however, if travelling by public transport it is a bit far from the closest bus stop. Especially in evenings, it's not easy to get to Roubaix or Lille since last transport is around 10pm. We came to see a concert in the Colisèe in Roubaix and had difficulty getting back after the concert. Somehow I thought it's a B&B but it turns out it's just a downstairs bedroom that is being offered in an otherwise private house. It is close to Villa Cavrois, so that's nice. And the garden of the property is lovely and private.

The bed mattress should be definitely changed and upgraded. Same goes for sleeping pillows. And the room itself would benefit from regular airing and freshness as it felt a bit damp. Otherwise it's nicely decorated and is a pleasant room.
