Great location for walking. There is free WiFi despite the booking.com listing saying no WiFi.
The house was very cold when we arrived but warmed up quickly when we turned the heating right up. The road outside was noisier than we're used to. The TV had no signal but there was a Game of Thrones box set that we binged on. Didn't bother us but may be an issue for others. No fault of the cottage owners but we were bombarded with emails from Sykes cottages. Seven in one day alone. Annoying!

Great location, lovely cottage with a river at the back of the garden which was amazing. Everything you need is there, great shower š very dog friendly thereās even towels for them !!

Excellent location for walking Hadrianās Wall.
The AD122 bus stops just up the road.
Provided a cosy and comfortable base to come home to each day

For the purpose of my stay the cottage was fine.
The location was good and the parking was useful.
Concerns I had included:
The window / window frames being buckled/loose in the main bedroom and living room. It wasn't possible to fully close or lock them.
General 'visible' cleanliness was ok but a deeper clean is over due.
