Clean and functional not too far from train station or city centre. Helpful staff. 6am breakfast allows for an early start.

Close to the old town - you can pretty much walk everywhere
No disturbances during the night
Shower head wasn't working well
No body gel inside the shower - had to open the shower every now and again to squeeze out the gel provided above the wash basin
Floor towel and big towel was provided, but hand towel missing
Don't expect a peaceful breakfast experience - chaos in the little buffet (real size cleverly avoided in photos) but I guess it's normal with so many teens
Asked for gluten free bread and it didn't come
If you can get a cheaper place, have breakfast at a baker's (Bäckerei) of which there are plenty everywhere

It's very central and close to the train station and city center. A nice lunch bag since I had to leave before breakfast. The staff was friendly and that's about it.
I stayed in many hotels and hostels during the past years - this experience was something. I've never been surcharged an additional fee of membership on surplus to the full price. Adding surcharges in the fineprint is a dishonest practice.
For the price, the rooms are terrible. It's really a hostel from the 80s without anything, bare. It's huge, but there is only one poor guy who has to run after all the youth who party in the hostel until late night. House rules aren't enforced.

"Breakfast is typical german style. The accomadation site is quite convenient, close to tram and S-bahn and old town.
My room was upgraded from a single bed room to twin-bed room (a suprise)."
