The cottage was wonderful - spacious, cosy and well equipped. The bed was amazing - best bed we've ever slept in whilst on holiday, and on par with our own super king bed at home! Very quiet location but only a short drive into Okehampton - a great base for exploring Devon, and right on the doorstep of Dartmoor. Super dog friendly as well!
Nicky was a wonderful host - super friendly and responsive. There were lots of information booklets on things to do in Devon in the cottage, and we were sent a super comprehensive and detailed welcome pack a couple of weeks before arrival, including restaurant recommendations.
The water pressure for the shower could have been a bit higher, and there were a few flies around (although that's probably to be expected given the location on an old farm with livestock nearby!) - but these were very minor points.

Peace and quiet area, lovely surroundings. Town centre nearby with enough facilities, shops, sightseeings, etc.. The location is perfect and connected with the rest of Devon and Cornwall to see and enjoy the fantastic coastline and countryside.
Above all, we were very pleased and more than satisfied. Our expectations in walking with our dog straight from the cottage and following a quiet footpath were to high. The only thing that was a little bit dissapointing was that we had to cross or follow a road where cars were driving, to have a nice stroll with our dog with less traffic (cars etc).

the location was fantastic - perfectly placed for dog walks on both Dartmoor and the local woods.
The cottage was and friendly and beautifully decorated. Nicky is a brilliant and friendly host
