We loved the room and the view, even from the shower you could see through a window outside. The hotel is beautiful and has easy access to the beach front. It's in a quiet part of town so you can relax while watching boats go past with the telescope.
The breakfast was not very good. All the cooked items were cold (eggs, bacon, crepes, etc) and the coffee was very bad and bitter due to an industrial Nespresso machine being used rather than a normal espresso machine that takes beans. The gym was only good for cardio exercise.

Stunning historic building with beautiful bedrooms overlooking the bay. Right on the seafront with access to the long beach and beautiful crystal clear sea. Exotic garden/dining area and a pretty swimming pool. We had lunch and dinner a couple of times and they were both very good. The service was good and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
The breakfast was far too over-priced for what it was and really badly set out. We had breakfast on our first morning and it was just total chaos with the staff looking very harassed. Opposite the hotel there is probably one of the best bakeries/confectioners in France and so deciding to get breakfast from there at one tenth of the price was no contest.
The hotel plays piped music in the atrium and dining area all day and evening but it never ever changes. Maybe it’s a Hilton thing. Thats ok if you are in an airport hotel for one night, but a week of it was really irritating and imagine the poor staff listening to it day in day out!
Access to the beach is through the dining room and so quite embarrassing. Opening up a gate from the pool area would be a really good idea.

It was nice surprise with the room upgrade and the sea view was fantastic as well as the food in the restaurant was amazing. Overall is the nice hotel with our recommendations…
In our room was a smell in the bathroom, but the issue was immediately solved

Location is perfect.
Hotel was closed at night, I mean literally the main door was chained :)). You need to find the hidden bell to reach the receptionist. This is a 4 star hotel not student dormitory.
They need to find proper way to secure hotel.
The car park door was closed, there is a password to enter. Even if you enter by walk, you need to enter from the same car park gate.
