It’s a beautiful lodge in a scenic area and could easily be a 10 with a few essential improvements (see below). Without them, unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend it.
It’s more like an event location than a place to stay.
All the beds are in the open loft area with no curtains or blinds on the windows. There’s no comfy seating in the dining room/living room, just 2 long tables with 16 dining room chairs around them. Remove one of the tables and put a comfy couch and that would be perfect. Also, there’s a cute side room that would be an ideal separate private bedroom, but instead has yet another table and chairs. Also, no WiFi and poor mobile reception.
