Excellent breakfast made better by views over the mountains and garden. Good selection of breakfast cereals with toast and coffee. Host unobtrusive but always available if needed.
Would have preferred an upstairs bathroom but our fault for not asking when booking.

Friendly and really helpful host, comfortable bed, quiet location with lovely views and a tasty help yourself breakfast.
There wasn't anything really. Bathroom being downstairs is the only thing I can think of if pushed.

POSITIVES - Good ….Pristine white bed linen and clean bedroom. Plenty of FREE parking space, quiet area out of town, without any disruption from the owner, own private conservatory for breakfast with pleasant outlook.
NEGATIVES
Did not score as excellent as it was a shared, rather tired looking bathroom.
It was also downstairs, awkward if you have to get up at night, as bedroom was upstairs. Not ideal if you have mobility issues.
Not enough hand rails to hang our wet towels after a shower
No bin in the bathroom
Whilst the breakfast information is described as ‘continental’ with choice of fruits as shown on the photo, we were rather disappointed to find out that there was no fruit apart from a couple of bananas. However on a positive note Nairns Gluten Free Muesli and a Gf loaf did cater for my allergies which I requested prior to arriving.
Check-in at 5pm doesnt match its competitors which are earlier. As we arrived at 2pm, we had to hang around in town after a long journey. This was not ideal as we then had limited time to freshen up and find somewhere to eat before an evening concert. Would recommend more flexibility with check in .
Whilst information states that the owner is a cat lover, despite not seeing the cat after the one occasion, it may not be suitable if you have a cat allergy.
