About this house rental
Small apartment house "La mia Casetta". In the centre of Porto Valtravaglia, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, 200 m from the lake, 400 m from the beach. 250 m long narrow motor access to the house. Public parking 150 m. Supermarket 500 m, restaurant, bar, bakery, café 200 m, bus stop 300 m, railway station "Porto Valtravaglia" 600 m, shingle beach 500 m. Nearby attractions: Laveno 9 km, Caldè 3.5 km.
2-room semi-detached house 50 m2, on the upper ground floor. Practical furnishings: living/dining room with 1 double sofabed and satellite TV. Exit to the terrace. 1 double bedroom. Small kitchen in the entrance (4 hot plates, oven, freezer, electric coffee machine). Shower/bidet/WC. Gas heating. Heating available only from 15.10. to 15.04. Terrace 15 m2, roofed. Die Zufahrt zu Parkplatz ist sehr eng. Mit einem SUV nicht möglich. Der nächste Parkplatz ist ca. 250 m entfernt.

Ein wirklich tolles Haus in einer kleiner Gasse. Die Gasse ist wirklich sehr schmal. Mit eingeklappten Spiegeln bin ich gerade so und mit Hilfe meines Sohnes durch die Gasse gekommen. Am Eingang der Gasse ist ein Schild, 1,50m breite.
Die Gegend ist sehr schön. Verwinkelte Gassen und man ist schnell am Wasser. Die Wohnung ist ausreichend. In der Küche hat mir ein Wasserkocher gefehlt.
Das Schlafsofa ist klasse, man kann es zu einem Bett ausklappen. Der Blick vom Balkon ist wirklich traumhaft. Das Schlafzimmer hat nur ein kleines Fenster was aber ausreichend war. Leider lässt es sich nicht komplett abdunkeln.
Das einzige was etwas störte, man muss seinen Müll sammeln und zu einer Deponie fahren. Die ist allerdings am Ortsausgang.
Alles in allem kann ich jedoch sagen, Preis-Leistung stimmt hier. Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Urlaub. Keine Überlaufene Tourihochburg.

Die Wohnung ist klasse. Vor allem der Blick vom Balkon auf den See. Herrlich. Die Küche ist mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Was mir gefehlt hat war ein Wasserkocher. Das Bett ist etwas hart, aber oke. Leider quietscht es bei der kleinsten Bewegung. Die Straße zum Haus ist wirklich sehr schmal. Wir sind mit eingeklappten Spiegeln gerade so durch gekommen (Ford C-Max) es befindet jedoch (ca 300m) ein öffentlicher Parkplatz. Es lohnt sich jedoch. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

We also rented this property exactly 10 years ago. It's a small kind of apartment, lying in the center of Porto Valtravaglia. Apparently the owner does not like to maintain his/hers property: though it was clean at first sight, the shower in the bathroom needs some proper attention, it was molded, and the shower head leaked, the same as 10 years ago......also some wall sockets were broken and the extractor hood in the kitchen and the door of the refrigerator were broken, exactly as 10 years ago..... But overall it was compensated by the magnificent location and the view at the lake. Don't let the traffic sign at the beginning of the Via Castello mislead you: if your car is no more than 2.00 meters wide including the side mirrors, it will fit through the opening if you're careful, and you will be able to park at the little parking place nearby the Casa.
So please, owner, take care of the maintenance and give some attention to the kitchen inventory to make this apartment a top apartment.
