Pool was excellent, the house is very cosy and well decorated. Very well equipped, with a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, smart tv, washing machine etc. Comfy bed, lovely opening bay windows you can walk out of, outside seating area, free parking, excellent value for money. Location is right next to a church and chateau, in a small village on the department border. Did not meet Jean, the owner, but Nicolas, who gave us a tour and the keys, was incredibly welcoming and a very friendly face who spoke excellent English. 11/10 would definitely visit again.
Location is out of the way of any major area, but there are towns <15 minutes away with supermarkets and restaurants.

This is a beautiful property in a peaceful location overlooking the village - the host, Jean, is very friendly and gave us a good introduction to the house and pool area - he was very welcoming. The pool is amazing - perfect temperature and very private - we had it to ourselves for our whole stay.
