This was a wonderful place to stay as a family. Every member of our family loved being here and we have already talked about coming back again. The pictures of the house don't do it justice. It was a perfect place to stay even on cold, rainy days. We were happy to come back from walks in the cold on Pelister to a warm, welcoming home with plenty of space.
The children loved that there was lots of space to run around and play outside. We stayed in the winter but I can imagine that the garden set up is perfect for warmer days too. My children would have stayed outside all day if they could have!
The accommodation is advertised as dog friendly, but I would say that the owner goes above and beyond that. It was an easy place to stay with a dog. The garden is fully enclosed and easy to accommodate a dog.
We would highly recommend this home.

AMAZING!! As noted many times before, Mirko is indeed a LEGEND - and Villa Serz is totally awesome too! Supremely comfortable, (slept like a baby!) - without doubt the highlight of our various accomodations in this wonderfully welcoming country! The stone and woodwork is beautiful, we loved the variety of lighting options! A little cooler than expected for the time of year when we were here - no problem, super toasty warm throughout! What a great value find!! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible home Mirko!!!

De villa bevindt zich in het kleine dorp Trnovo, vlakbij de stad Bitola, aan de voet van de berg Pelister. De villa is een geweldig uitvalsbasis voor een gevarieerde vakantie in Macedonië. Wij gebruikten haar als startpunt voor een aantal schitterende bergwandelingen door het Pelister Nationaal Park. Maar zij ligt ook niet meer dan drie kwartier rijden van een aantal mooie stranden aan het Prespa Meer (bijv. in Pretor of Slivnica). De interessante stad Bitola is letterlijk tien minuten rijden van de villa vandaan, de supermarkt (Maxi Agro Market) en een benzinestation zijn zelfs maar vijf minuten rijden.
In de winter kun je in de buurt van de accommodatie skieën, de skipiste van Nizepole is vlakbij. Toen wij er waren was het zomer, dus was de skipiste groen:) Naar Ohrid, dat 70 km westelijk ligt, is het vijf kwartier rijden. Naar het adembenemende Nationaal Park Galicica (tussen het Meer van Ohrid en het Prespa Meer) is het een uurtje rijden (55 km).
Het is een prachtig, stevig gebouwd huis met mooie houten vloeren en fraaie paneeldeuren. Het heeft een grote tuin, een mooie huiskamer met een open haard en een luxe keuken met een ruime kookplaat en een grote diepvriezer. Het heeft grote, sfeervolle slaapkamers met grote bedden (en leeslampjes bij de bedden!!). Eigenlijk was het het mooiste huis waarin we in Macedonië gewoond hebben, alles werkte, niets was kapot. Geen lekkende kranen, geen slaapkamerramen zonder gordijnen etc.
Mirko, de host, was hartelijk en behulpzaam, we wensen hem vanuit Nederland veel goeds!
Helaas ontdekten wij dit huis pas aan het einde van onze vakantie. Volgende keer beginnen we er.

Endroit très calme à la campagne. Parfait pour se relaxer loin du tumulte de la ville. Propriétaire très communicatif et soucieux de votre bien être.
L’ajout d’un micro onde aurait été parfait.
