Liegt inmitten des Dorfes Dolno Dupeni unweit des Prespa-Sees, sehr ruhig gelegen ca. 2.5 km vor der griechischen Grenze. Wir wurden hervorragend betreut und verwöhnt durch Nikola und Mare. Man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. Gute Tipps zum essen, denn es gibt nicht viele Möglichkeiten. Hervorragendes Frühstück, praktisch alles selbst gemacht und frisch. Gute Siebträgerkaffeemaschine. Zudem stehen gute Fahrräder zur Verfügung. Zudem hat die kleine Villa nur gerade 3 Zimmer, was uns sehr gefallen hat.
Wir haben bewusst den Prespasee und nicht den total touristischen Ohridsee gewählt, wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.

A beautiful house and garden near Prespa Lake. Come for the tranquility after Ohrid! The whole family were very friendly and I appreciated the extras like a pickup and drop off at Resen (I don't have a car), a bike to go to the beach and the complimentary minibar including local wine! The breakfast is also excellent - especially the homemade jams and ajvar. The nearby villages are very pretty and an easy trip on foot.
For those travelling by public transport it is worth knowing that there are a lot fewer buses Ohrid to Resen and Resen to Bitola than it seems online so worth asking at Ohrid or Bitola for up to date info.

We absolutely loved it! The hospitality was top-notch and the stunning nature surrounding the farm was breathtaking. The old house has been exceptionally well redesigned to make you feel very comfortable. Mattresses and pillows were just right for a restful night of sleep.
The breakfast was outstanding and a homemade fig preserve served before we left was something to remember. I am sure it would be a hit if commercially available.
The only sounds you hear are birds and insects.
If you are looking for a unique and sustainable getaway, I highly recommend checking out this place.
The restaurant on a Lugano beach in Pretor is the best bet for a meal. The chilled atmosphere, with cats and dogs mingling around looking for table scraps, adds to the charm. On our drive to the restaurant, we stumbled upon turtles crossing the road twice.
The Prespa lake has considerably shrunk over the last several years, and the beaches were not what one might expect. Among several nearby beachfronts we checked, the best was Slivnica beach, which is a short drive from the property.

We had a wonderful stay at this “off the beaten path” village. Highly recommended for hikers or those with their own car who enjoy exploring.
