The flat was in a really great location - overall was practical, modern and clean. For a chilly time of year, it was really cosy and warm - but you could open the windows if you wanted (initially it appeared you couldn't).
We stayed one night (a Wednesday) and the noise from the street was awful. I was awake until 1:30am and my daughter said it went on later! If you are a light sleeper and don't use earplugs, I would not recommend. It was evident that the shower had leaked at some point previously as the bathroom floor / door was looking rather shabby. Some maintenance needing doing.

Great Location for the Theatre which was the purpose of our stay, and the centre of town for shops and the park.
We loved the layout and the huge windows letting in lots of natural light making it feel open, spacious and comfortable.
Not a dislike as such, more of a suggestion. We didn't manage to get the hob working, the instruction manual would have been helpful. We used the microwave instead which was good enough.
There was a little noise from outside but not enough to bother us.

Great location. Easy walking to station, shopping, castle and Royal Mile. Several bars and restaurants within 200m.

Good location
Tv channels weren't working, shower pressure was very poor. And wasn't very soundproof, could hear a lot of doors banging from neighbouring apartments.
