Nice room, nice breakfast (£5), good communication.
Up a bit of a hill from transport hub. Needed some sort of fridge access.

Our room was small but adequate for 2 people. Very good shower. Big window in the bedroom. Breakfast was also very good for £5. Very helpful proprietor.

Maridon House was a beautifully kept, cosy bread and breakfast only 8 minutes walking from the centre of town. The beds were comfy, room was clean, breakfast was substantial and the staff were so friendly. Check in was smooth and easy!
The electric shower was a tad confusing to operate and the pressure wasn’t very strong but heated up nicely.

Breakfast was continental only so we walked into town and ate. The rooms were expensive but your paying because its Oban. We travelled the west coast of Scotland and found this to be amongst the highest expense for accommodation but not as good as most of the places we stayed.
Only continental breakfast available at an extra cost. The rooms were clean and tidy but parking was tight and the narrow steep stairs to the rooms were a little problematic with heavy bags. The host was great and did everything he could to accommodate us so no real complaints other than the price.
