Good location if you can drive! Value for money was impressive considering the location too. Wasn't aware parking was a £10 fee. If you aren't a very very heavy sleeper, request an upstairs room. We were under creaking floor boards, under what must have been a corridor. I've slept through an earthquake and my own house alarm. This creaking was loud, and almost constant from 6am onwards, could not sleep through it.

It says Free Parking but it is not free. They charge you £10 and suggested they don't care about what's mentioned on third party websites.

The pub area of this hotel is very good actually, looks very modern. After you have checked in (they charge an extra £10 per car per night incase you missed that in the booking details, which we did) you walk up the stairs into the accommodation area - and its like walking through a time warp. The carpets/decor is pretty shabby. The room itself was dirty, stains all over the carpets, bed, and duvet. The shelving didn't look clean, and as I ran my finger over it the dust it collected was fairy disgusting. This hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bathroom was awful (see pics) mould, rust, and just a dirty feel. The walls between rooms offer zero sound insulation, so its noisy. We had breakfast included in our price, which was very nice as it goes, the only criticism is that you are not allowed (unless you pay) a decent coffee from the machine, it was only instant from the packets. If you are going here to eat, it is very nice, but I would give this a wide berth if you want a clean room and a decent nights sleep.
