another nice stay for business in the area. Room 11 this time. The only point I'd make was that it overlooks the garden and the security light is activated a lot at night due to the movement of trees etc. I'm a "light" sleeper !!!

Half way through my stay- very comfortable and dined in the restaurant last night - all staff very friendly and attentive and food was spot on.
Will definitely be looking at staying here again when in the area !

The location off the M6 / M5 is very convenient. Car Park is good. We had a little trouble locating the entrance and reception. We stayed in room 4 which was a triple room. The room smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke but only at the door so I think the staff rooms were located nearby and the smell was coming from there. I opened the windows and the smell had thankfully cleared by the time we had dinner. The furniture and fittings are all well used and far from perfect but the towels and bedding were new and clean. The bed was okay but not super comfy. The toilet seat fell apart and the water was scalding hot.
On the plus side the bar and restaurant onsite were wonderful.
I would visit again if decor and furniture in the rooms were improved and staff had a smoking area away from guest rooms.
