The fantastic atmosphere of an old castle is kept in this room, at the same time it has a heating system, and very comfortable! The pies from breakfast are tasty!
The couple that owns this small hotel was very helpful and helped organize a horse lesson which was fantastic!
First day, the nearby restaurant was unexpectedly closed for dinner, so you should have some food with you in case you have no car. The breakfast was not ideal, for example, the juices were spoilt and the cheese had some mold on it. The coffee is smth they also could work on, if you want to know the truth.
These are all small things, we really enjoyed the stay!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The town is a bit sleepy, so having a car is a must, as it's a great stopping point to travel to Spoleto and Montefalco.
The restaurant across the street (Osteria Della Torre) is amazing as well.

Huge room with a lot of taste in a very nice renovated castle

- the idea of living in a former castle that is well maintained
- the hosts openness to make the stay wonderful
- convenient space for parking with enough parking spots(outside the citadel)
- mixed feelings for positioning -> it is quite remote so car is required
- good pillows
- the first room was having a small high window with a pungent heavy smell, regardless the air fresheners provided in the room - some allergies kicked in maybe not related to the room, luckily we had allergies pills (for the entire 15 days traveled, no other allergies)
- after we changed the first room, we received another bigger room that had more than 30 degrees in the evening and the portable AC was not handling it. I got charged an additional fee because the room was bigger and had an extra bed - which was not used.
- internet was having problems in the second evening(not working even if the host was kind enough to provide the routers user and pass)
- pigeons noise
- a bit awkward breakfast -> one of the owners was sitting in front of the food serving you with what you wanted. there was a line and you were waiting with the plate in your hand for the owner to serve you. i did not enjoy this experience.
