Nicola met us at the door and was very welcoming and really helpful. The place was clean and comfortable with a nice homely feel. It's a short walk to the main attractions and shops for supplies. Short walk to tram stop if you wanted to go further. Heating was turned on for us coming in so room was nice and warm for us coming in out of the cold, plenty of clean blankets and pillows for use, veds were comfortable and the sofa bed I was told was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if traveling down to Blackpool.
The street it's on looks a little run down which had us worried to start with but Somerset house is well kept and the street was quiet at nights.

Nicola (site manager) was absolutely lovely, easy to talk to and went above and beyond. Apartment was very clean and spacious. Was a breeze to check in and out. Our family wanted to stay longer so Nicola found us another accommodation elsewhere for us as they were fully booked. Loads of arcades, gift shops nearby along with plenty of places to eat. Lots of decoration.
The main bedroom light didn’t work. But the bed side lamps were sufficient.

The manager was very friendly. It is not far to the town. Probably ideal for men going to the footy but not ideal for us.
Unfortunately the electrics were a little scary. One of the bedroom plugs was faulty so couldn't be used. The bathroom could be updated, and the lino was not flush to the wall. The shower was temperamental, and with 6 people, 3 adults and 3 teenagers, a properly working shower would have been ideal. The apartment was cold as we walked in but the heating worked eventually.
