Good base for touring around the area, very well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Really good wi-fi which kept the kids happy, also nice touch from the hosts with cookies and milk on arrival.
Lack of attention to detail with cleanliness, shower screens has soap residue left on them which made the bathrooms feel dirty, leather sofas were covered with marks and shabby and there were various hairs and dust on the window sills, needs a deep clean once a month to keep on top of things - especially as it's a dog friendly cottage. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade, as one shower leaked and the other was positioned far too low on the wall, I'm 5ft 3" and had to bend down to wash my hair.

The location, the village and facilities. Great pub food and friendly service.
Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage had everything we could have asked for. It was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The location of the property so close to this quiet beach with lovely walks in both directions is what made it great for us. The enclosed garden helps make it perfect for anyone on holiday with dogs. The cottage is cosy and well equipped. Home from home rather than pretentious. Local pubs are friendly and serve good food as does the Indian-all within walking distance.
The South Downs Way is only a short drive away if you fancy a change from the beach. All helped by the fantastic weather.
