Alban and Abbey House

The man who we collected our keys from was very friendly, explained in detail how to find our apartment and also gave us some recommendations for dinner. The apartment itself was only a 10 minute walk from the city center, with lots of restaurants and pubs. The bathroom was really good: large, modern, and warm despite it being quite cold outside. The beds were spacious and comfortable, and parking was right in front of the door. The apartment was only a few meters from a busy street, but there was no noise pollution during the night or morning.

The parking space was large enough for multiple cars and covered in gravel; as a result, you did hear if some of the other guests moved their cars in the morning.

It was a nice building with the quite large room as well as the staff were very helpful.

The bed was quite uncomfortable as being a bit too hard - same as pillows

Spacious, well-appointed single room in a house in a quiet suburban street just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Inverness. Plenty of parking. The bakery just around the corner sold a breakfast sandwich in freshly baked bun and coffee for a reasonable price.

No complaints

The location was great

The accomodation was not cheap but lacked the same facilities and quality that a hotel would. These guest houses shower head leaked water and as a result had limited pressure, the bathroom light was non functioning and the tea / coffee making facilities rudimentary.
