This place was great if you're looking for an affordable option close to the city. Zandaam is a quick train ride to the city center for a much cheaper price.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious!
Like other posts said, the rooms are small. But they have shelving and once we put our things away, we didn't feel cramped at all. Space is at a premium in the Netherlands so if you want an affordable option, you will have to sacrifice some space.
Many posts also mentioned that the hotel is a little out of the way. This is technically true but I found that it also was quiet and a little more peaceful. There is some road construction not far from the hotel but we didn't hear the noise from that at all.
You will need to take a short bus ride to the Zandaam station to get to the city (or you can take the bus all the way in), but it was a short walk to the bus station. The buses and trains are clean and efficient so we didn't mind at all.

location of the apt was excellent, bright and airy. very nice
let down by very old and uncomfortable mattresses that gave everyone bad backs.
apt wasn't cleaned very well, cups etc in cupboard were dirty. need a better cleaner
$$$$
