Great place located near Amsterdam centraal 17min with sprinter)
Self check in and out was easy.

I can't criticize the room and location it was great. It is Self check in if you're from another country be peperd for lot's of time on phone at a high rate internet don't work.

No reception counter. Use online to check in and check out. If late check in or early check out, it will be a challenge as no one can help. It will be good if the hotel always have reception counter as we are paying similar price as normal hotel. Location is good.

This hotel has no human beings to interact with except for a voice on the phone. Talking over the phone was not helpful given the bad reception. I had to grab a kind Dutch person off the street to communicate with the receptionist over the phone. Checking into the Annex building was confusing as the main check in was in the main hotel. over the road at the main hotel, check in was done digitally. Again no human beings. So if you are given a room in the Annex building, make sure you know where to check in. Checking in should be more friendly. The photos of this hotel are misleading. Pictures of the Annex should be included to show guests what they are getting in reality: a grey building with rooms. Overall, the room is clean but all hotels have very clean rooms in Amsterdam. Beautiful city with beautiful people. My advice is : always check where your room is before coming to this hotel. If you are the kind of traveller who wants to interact with a human being when you first arrive to check in, don't come to the is hotel.
