The hotel is situated on Lake Constance and likely presents a stunning view of the lake and tha Alps - I say likely, as during our visit, the entire area was decked in thick fog…
The staff were very pleasant and mostly spoke English. The food was excellent.
My room was very well provisioned with coffee machine, hair dryer, a large TV and a typical German double bed with two single quilts and the bed was extremely comfortable!
I have no dislikes. The only thing “missing” from the room from my point of view - bearing in mind I was on business - was an iron and ironing board… But I asked for one, and it was delivered to my room.

The biggest and most impressive breakfast of our 10 day trip to Germany. Food was outstanding.
The view of Lake Constance from our room was blocked by construction.

We loved our room with a balcony in the villa--but it was difficult to access due to two flights of stairs. It's not easy traveling with suitcases and climbing two flights of stairs. The view was beautiful with the sailboats! Our waiter, originally from Algeria was excellent and surprised my husband (who had just celebrated a birthday) with a special, sparkling candle on our last evening.
We wish instead of a fan, the hotel could have provided us with a portable "tower" that blows out cool air (we had such an AC tower in our hotel room in Munich). It was quite warm in our room at night. Next time, I think that we will request a room in the main part of the hotel with the elevator which is close to the restaurant.
Our first morning at breakfast we were late, and I didn't understand that we couldn't use the coffee machine after a certain time. An older man who was working in the restaurant yelled at me in German---but all I could say was "Es tut mir leid!"
