Aus privatem Anlass musste ich kurzfristig nach Bad Berka und brauchte eine einfache Übernachtungsgelegenheit. Frühstücken konnte ich leider nicht - ich bin sehr spät gekommen und früh gegangen. Das Self-Service-System für den Schlüsselzugang wurde per ausführlicher Mail erklärt und hat gut funktioniert. Eine kurzfristige Terminverschiebung hat man mir auch problemlos ermöglicht. Obwohl ich tatsächlich nur telefonischen Kontakt mit einem sehr freundlichen Angestellten hatte, hat alles geklappt. Das Haus ist - der Name deutet es an - eigentlich für Radwanderer gedacht. Entsprechend gibt es eine große Fahrradgarage, aber vor dem Haus ist auch ein großer, kostenfreier Parkplatz. Mein Zimmer war normal groß geschnitten, einfach eingerichtet, gut beheizbar, mit Smart-TV ausgestattet und hatte ein nachträglich eingebautes, ziemlich neues und pieksauberes Bad. Internet konnte ich nicht ausprobieren. Die Lage ist ebenfalls gut: Das Zentrum der kleinen Stadt ist kaum 3 Gehminuten entfernt. Der Preis ist günstig, das Gebotene mehr als fair. Vielen Dank!
Spät anzukommen ist eventuell etwas unheimlich, weil tatsächlich niemand da ist. Dem Alter des Hauses geschuldet ist das Treppenhaus eng und nicht behindertengerecht. Die Treppe ist aus Holz - kritischer Punkt für den Brandschutz, Fluchtwege sind aber ordnungsgemäß ausgewiesen.
