We were not expecting luxury for the tiny amount we paid, but we were not shocked either. My impression was that this pub must have been a fairly nice place years ago when it first opened, but that perhaps the current owners are struggling with the upkeep. The reception was a bit brusk, but the room we were given was quite large. It was ok for 1 night - we would not have stayed any longer than that, because the bathroom was not clean and in the end we did not use it. The toilet was very smelly as well an the TV didn't work, buy you get what you pay for. We survived :)

I am an international traveler who has visited over 30 countries, and I have never experienced anything as terrible as my stay at Boss To Taksim. This was without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The general behavior of the staff was unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude. They created a hostile and uncomfortable environment. We felt unsafe and disrespected throughout our stay. A hotel should be a place of comfort and security, but this was the opposite. The manager's intoxicated and aggressive behavior is a serious safety and security concern.
