A lovely cosy, warm and welcoming hotel in a beautiful location up in the mountains. The views from the rooms and from the dinner and breakfast room were stunning. All the staff were helpful and friendly and always wished you a lovely day - it was important to them that you enjoyed your stay and they really do care, make you feel special and provide 5 star service. Every morning they gave you a little pamphlet giving you the weather for the day, advice on what to do and the menu for the day, which was a lovely touch and very helpful. The food was amazing - 5 star in my opinion with 5 star service from all the restaurant staff. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. The hotel also has a great spa and you can book specific massages. There are plenty of great hiking trails around the hotel. The cable car to Bolzano is not working at the moment but there is a replacement bus service to get you to the city where there is plenty to see. If you want rest and relaxation and to de-stress, this hotel is the perfect place.

It was on a beautiful mountain, the breakfast was nice and it was near Bolzano, a great city.

On booking the swimming pool was advertised but this was frozen over when we were there, a funicular was required to reach the hotel & this didn’t run into the evening so we had to pay for taxis to the hotel, we were promised the rental of snowshoes which when we asked multiple times but never received, we asked about which hikes to do nearby and didn’t get any clear guidance from the staff, we asked to fill a thermos with tea for our hikes and the hotel tried to charge us 15€ for 4 teabags which seemed a bit cheeky given we had spent over 600€ total with them for 2 nights.
