Lido Palace - The Leading Hotels of the World

We booked Lifo Palace for our 20th wedding anniversary and I’m so glad we chose this hotel, it is absolutely incredible. It’s in a prime location in Riva del Garda with the terrace overlooking the lake. The hotel itself is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. We took full advantage of the spa and swimming pool area. The terrace room has a hot tub and sunbeds and was simply beautiful, especially first thing in the morning looking out over the lake. Breakfast was lovely and we had a meal at the restaurant on our last night and the food was amazing. Every night we ended up on the terrace having a drink. What makes this hotel extra special is the staff, each and every one of them goes out of their way to make sure you are having the best stay.

A last minute call after an enthusiastic drive around the lake turned out to be a good choice. The hotel is very well placed in its own green oasis, in Riva del Garda, by the lake. A designish restomod. Welcoming and hospitable people at the reception desk and at breakfast service, too. The heated garden pool overlooking the mountain feels very much like in the middle of nature. The restaurant's terrace sits slightly above the lake and so it feeds the eye with a beautiful view. I appreciate the stealthiness of the staff attending and cleaning the room. Acqua di Parma toiletries are a fine touch. A plus was the complementary parking.

The single room is rather "compact". The hand towel right by the toilet seat is a no.

Staff qualified and professional. Great views. Private.

Some electronics didnt work. Minor stuff, though.
