Amazing location on Rutland Waters, hotel is beautiful and has lots of history, rooms are comfortable and clean, food is excellent and good value, staff are very helpful. Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful couple of days with family for a catch up, Easter and birthday celebration.

Breakfast was really good. Fresh and tasty. The view amazing from restaurant and room. Very quiet and clean room, good water pressure in shower, big mirror. Bed very comfortable. Table light with USB and ST for better phone charge.
Staff really friendly .
Morning coffee was bit too strong for me.

Location is great.right beside Rutland Water.
Didn't stay for breakfast as after the meal the night before we really weren't impressed with the place. .
2 lights in our room didn't work.The beds were very creaky .. It took 5 mins to get hot water in the shower and then it wasn't very hot. No central heating, just an electric radiator . Our door key didn't work and we had to go back to reception twice. The whole place seemed soulless and lacked warmth and character.
