The staff were really lovely , so helpful and accomadating.. the food was delicious! The beds were really comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. The showers were great!
Rooms were quite dated, carpet fraying.. sloped ceiling and bashed my head 3 times because of this!
Had to wait quite a while for breakfast to come out and found some of the food was cold.
Swimming times were very restricted and having children we want to be able to use the pool at more convenient times.. The swimming pool times clashed with going for breakfast! Which is very unfair and disappointing. The pool was absolutely packed and no spare seats/beds on the side, so overall quite disappointed by the leisure facilities.
There were no robes and slippers for guests.. and for a 4 star hotel we expected a lot more for our money to be honest.

All good we was very surprised that it’s belong to Lea Marston group - we stayed at Lea Marston Hotel once and it was awful run down place and even breakfast time they ran out of white bread for toasting making me waiting 20 minutes to defrost (knowingly you can toast bread frozen) being it’s busy time when we attended to wedding reception the night before

Beds were comfy, facilities were good and breakfast was nice.
The shower was cold and not powerful at all so took ages to shower.

Really friendly staff, the grounds are gorgeous to walk around. Really nice bar/ restaurant area. Room was basic but a lot bigger than expected
Steps leading into pool where dirty. The jacuzzi was also dirty and was a strange off yellow colour.
We stayed in a room near the spa and in the morning around 6am the linen/dirty washing was being collected or delivered, so the cages of washing where being thrown against a wall on the outside of the spa the driver shouting near the window.
Walls are like paper so even walking to your room you could hear people talking in there rooms so we spent half the night trying to sleep as the room upstairs where banging around
