Alcamo Motel

My kids loved the pool they also ran up and down the stairs in the family rooms. My son had woken up with a bleeding nose and the staff were fine with how it went through the sheets and blanket they were very polite. Showers had awesome pressure nice hot water. We were in 3 motels the past week and id say this was our favorite because we booked 2 rooms and could do our work in 1 of the rooms online. Also the motel was able to move our dates up with no extra charge since plans had changed.

the wifi was lagging but thats ok still was able to finish our work online and make our way back home to auckland

Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of teabags available. Pressure of the shower was great. The quick response of the staff to improve the shower drainage.

The slow drainage of the shower wasn’t pleasant, but was fine after it was dealt with by staff. Not sure how this might be checked on a regular basis but it was a bit off-putting when it happened. There were plenty of power outlets but not really well placed for easy proximity to charging devices while using the beds as places to sit. The fridge actually froze the food we had in it. Was great for the ice packs I had put in the actual freeze box, but not so good for the food on the shelves. We did turn the thermostat down a bit but didn’t seem to make any difference. We didn’t raise this with staff, but think it is helpful for you to know. Not sure if providing a small bottle of milk is a thing you do -other places brave stayed at do, but we didn’t get any - none was in the fridge and none offered when we arrived. Again we didn’t ask for any, ascwe we’re going to the supermarket anyway, but just sharing this thought.

The room was awesome clean large and was on the ground floor by the pool

was a little confusing the lay out at first, but once worked it out was ok

Bed was comfy & clean

No out door sitting area. Courtyard near the pool didnt have any seating
