The room was very clean and just the right size for a single. The restaurant was very good, the steak was just the right temperature, I'd definitely go back

I stayed at an AirBnB not so far away and it wasn’t very nice as advertised for a few days so when I entered the room at Lysses Hotel it was big and ample and I loved the old school alarm clock and phone in the room. Very clean and comfortable and I highly recommend staying there. The only quibble was breakfast on the Bank Holiday Monday which felt unwelcome and rushed with burnt toast along with a not so great service from the young gentleman.
The Tuesday morning breakfast was Bob on and the young lady in charge was so helpful and attentive to all guests. A true star.
Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel.
