Staff are great, super kind and helpful Beautiful location, peacocks lovely addition, great room very clean everywhere, great shower, comfy bed. We were kindly provided with a cot bed for baby.

I think they should have a coffee machine. A simple bean to cup would make breakfast 100 times better. Breakfast is 8:30-10 and we went for 10 but they actually close at this time so reduced food items etc, they still let us have breakfast but no fresh food around that time

Went for a spa afternoon for my partners birthday and decided to book a room beforehand to extend the experience of the castle. It was more than what we expected. I'd seen reviews on line saying it could do with a lick of paint, it's dated etc - at the end of the day it's a castle and it was kept in the way it should be. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful than they were !! All in all myself and my partner had a fabulous spa afternoon, lunch, evening meal & stay and will be back !

Nothing !! For us the location was perfect, the grounds were beautiful with informative signs around. I think if anyone finds fault, they are very hard to please !

The main bed room was recently decorated to a good standard, the waitresses were extremely polite and quick to serve

Unfortunately although the bedroom was recently refurbished to a good standard, I can't say the same for the bathroom. I was in room 208 It had a feel and look of an abandoned building rust in the bath plug hole, mold in the sealant and grout in the tiles plus an incorrect plug for the sink. The shower curtain also had mold and other stains. I dont think this paticularly room was fit for customers not fitting for such a building sadly.
