We enjoyed our stay. This was our second visit. The hotel was very busy as it was Mother's day weekend. Unfortunately we had booked a table in the restaurant and had it confirmed in writing but when we arrived there was no table reserved for us. The staff found us a table in the bar though. Service for lunch was very slow but the staff were apologetic and kept us informed.
Breakfast was not overly warm and the coffee was far too strong.

Able to upgrade to a bigger room at check in for a reasonable cost. Very comfortable bed and lovely woodland view through the window.

Chosen for the location, as close to friends. Always worry about a Saturday night, and potential parties at large hotels but despite a party going on, the staff had put us in a room away from the main building.

the first night was fine second night a couple in next room having a domestic from 11pm till 1am , when i did get dressed and go down to reception as phone wasn’t working someone did come up and check but it had then stopped , can’t be helped these things happen but never really got an apology or was offered to move it at least a free coffee for having to get dressed and go down at 1am
