What a lovely stay and so convenient to the wonderful city center of Lucca! If you like staying in authentic and beautiful old villas this is perfect. The rooms are spacious with tall ceilings and our bed was so comfortable. The decorations are also well thought out, each room with its own theme.
The two helpful and friendly owners took very good care of us, and served a delicious breakfast, all homemade, with many choices. There is a nice seating area outside at the back, perfect for siesta time, as well as a lot of drinks and treats available at any time, for a nominal fee.
Unfortunately our room fronted the quite busy road that lies between the villa and the walls of old Lucca. There are many ambulances and a lot of traffic well into the night, so either request a room at the back or bring earplugs. Otherwise, a perfect stay!

Service was wonderful, breakfast wonderful and freshly baked homemade cakes and bread - hosts could not do enough for you. Also a bonus that you have parking at the property
The property is older and the rooms could do with some updates - rooms are comfortable.

The breakfast selection and quality was amazing, and the hosts are especially kind and helpful. The room I reserved with 2 beds was given to a larger party and the room I shared with my friend was not what we expected. Except for that error, all was wonderful.

This place is an absolute delight. The position is excellent, the room was great and the facilities were super- really comfortable. A home from home. The breakfast was superb but best of all the two ladies who run it are brilliant- kind, friendly and super helpful. We wanted to buy local oil and wine. They organised places for us to go straight to the suppliers and so we got superb quality goods. Nothing is too much trouble and we would love to make a return visit.
