The location is the best part of this hotel next to Wahda Mall and next to the mosque. The facility while aged (in a nice way) has been maintained very well and is extremely clean. In terms of staff service levels, the saving grace came in the form of Nicholas and Lenreed who more than made up for the shortcoming of a couple of others, with their warm and friendly nature and always being so very helpful. They stand among the finest service level officers I have dealt with during my entire 20 years living in the UAE. Their kind of service is hard to come by even in the most highly rated hotels globally. They should be training the other staff. Special mention on Ali from the restaurant, always made my breakfast time feel at home. Kudos to all three of them!
The only negative aspect of my stay was a couple staff who were not professional.

Location is very good. Mall is beside the hotel.
Staff behavior. They forced me to upgrade and pay extra unnecessary. Does not have speaking etiquettes.

Breakfast was ok. Staff was accommodating.
No actual parking at the property as advertised, car had to be taken to nearby mall by staff continuously. No swimming pool on site as advertised. Sofa bed was not provided as advertised on booking, as I had to pay separately for an extra bed. Breakfast was not provided for the entire family of 4 as advertised, as I had to pay separately for breakfast for 2 persons. Rooms were not sound proof.
