The location was perfect, it was walking distance from all activities. We had a view of the aiguille du midi from our room.
There was a problem with the heater and there was no hot water during one whole day during our stay and it was in winter and was freezing cold! The lift also was not functioning properly on the last day of our stay

The locaction is a short walk from Charmonix Sud (4mins) where all the busses to the various ski areas go from. The large Spar is also a stone's throw away. The main area of the town is also a leasurly 10min walk away so the location is great.
The room is clean, and the main bed is a fold down bed so when that is down you have little space.
It's noisy, let me qualify that. The renovated apartments all have wooden floors, which don't dampen any of the noise, so at dinner time you can hear all the furniture scraping. And you can pretty much hear every door slam and people above you late at night. I have stayed at other P&V and they have carpeted floor so you dont get this level of impact noise.

Good location
Poor noise cancellation in the building, we could hear literally every step or voice from the room above. Also, the hotel gives us instructions on how to clean our room before leaving, which were more demanding than regular Airbnb or hotel standards (clean the dustbins; remove the used bedsheets; clean your dishes etc). Very limited supplies of soap or toilet paper, no cleaning services during the entire stay, irrespective of the duration of stay.
