We stayed at the Swallow Falls in April 2026 and really enjoyed the property. We were checked in promptly for 2 rooms, next to each other, nicely decorated and all the amenities that we required. The location is directly across the road from the Swallow Falls and up the road from The Ugly Tea room. We used it as a base to explore. We had dinner in the pub, which was very good and the staff were friendly. The beds and pillows led to a comfortable nights sleep. The only negative with the room would be the bathrooms are quite small, but did seem to be fairly new and clean. Breakfast was also good with a range of cold items and hot items to order. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Great location. Nice looking property.
Stayed in room 301. I could literally hear every step taken above me. This was not a blame on the hotel merely my experience and clearly the above occupants would not have known this was an issue, which is why I never brought it up.
There wasn’t much clarity around the drinks for being green and switching out the cleaning and breakfast was nice but not only myself but it was clear that people did not understand the protocol, myself included (until after breakfast 1).
In my opinion some work needs to be done on the food, however, I appreciate regional differences and perhaps different expectations of patrons.
Staff were helpful/pleasant so no issues there.
The check in process could have been made easier. I think there is a lot more information that could be given upfront to aid with check in
