Studio was very good, decent size. Facilities in the room were good, Kettle, toaster, miorowave, induction hob, crockery and cutlery . An added bonus was the studio had two TVs and the amount of channels available was excellent. We liked that the seating in the restaurant was spacious.
Breakfast was not good. chef couldnt cook eggs, bacon looked overcooked and inedible. frequently ran out of breakfast items. such as bacon and eggs, also croissants.
We had paid for breakfast and dinner, and the staff were not aware of this and initially charged us for our dinner, on the second evening this was sorted, and on the third evening we were charged a supplement for a steak, which we were unaware of.

I have stayed a number of times at this location and each time it has been a great stay, until the last time, which is such a shame will look at alternatives in future
The way breakfast is done has been changed since the last time I stayed.
The hygiene of guests picking up items with their hands at breakfast not just touching every croissant and popping them on the side so the person gets 2 untouched croissants at the bottom of the basket. They then put all the croissants they don’t want back in the basket off the side and not using the tongs provided next to the basket. To the hot plate item (black pudding) being picked up with fingers that had been itching a male persons groin as he walked into the restaurant moments earlier, the hot items are then placed back with said fingers, again ignoring the implements that are there to help picking up items off the hot plates, It’s put me off buffets for life. I appreciate it’s cheaper for the hotel to put out hot items and pastry’s so people can help themselves. However ordering an English breakfast from the kitchen should also be an available option.
