Holiday Ao Nang Beach Resort, Krabi

The location of this resort is excellent, within walking distance to the Ao Nang night markets and restaurants. Although the beach across the road isn’t ideal for swimming due to the tides, this wasn’t an issue as the resort has two large pools to cool down in, plus a separate children’s pool with three slides. The resort also features beautiful lush gardens, a koi fishpond, friendly staff, clean rooms, and very comfortable beds. The gym was also a good size with excellent facilities. The breakfast buffet was good; however, I found the gluten-free options quite limited, with only eggs, yoghurt, salad, and fruit available during my stay. There were no gluten-free pastries, bread, cereals, or bacon available. The coffee was excellent both at breakfast and in the room. We experienced an issue with our room on the first night, but reception staff were very accommodating and moved us to another interconnecting room for the remainder of our stay. We visited at the beginning of low season, so the resort was quieter, which we really enjoyed. We booked our day tours both through the resort tour desk and the same company located just outside the resort. Both offered good prices and we had no issues at all. There were also many money exchange outlets within 200 metres of the resort. A special mention to Bah at the Island Bar, who made fantastic cocktails every day and always provided friendly service with a smile. Great Happy Hour prices too! I would definitely recommend this resort for young families.

We stayed as three adults in an interconnecting family room. While the room itself was great, the second bedroom bathroom was clearly designed more for young children, with the sink and mirrors positioned at child height — ideal for kids, but less practical for adults. One thing to note is that there are no indoor air-conditioned dining areas. The breakfast area is open-air on the first floor overlooking the beach. Only the salads, fruit, juices, and yoghurt were kept in a cooled room.

Its centrally located, reasonable pricing, 2 big swimming pools inside the campus, hence not feel crowded. Big property with different rooms category.

Staff not friendly like you expected in thailand, rooms are not very comfortable, location is little off, crowd is weird, and prices are rip off, we stayed for half the price in a mich nicer place the night before, pool bar is old, drinks are overpriced.
