Fantastic place. Clean, comfortable, everything worked, the location is magnificent. 5 minute walk to tram. 10 minutes to metro. City center is an easy walk too. I've stayed here multiple times and will be back again.
Narrow stairs and no lift, but this is clearly mentioned so not really a negative.

Beautiful, very well equipped apartment in an incredible location. Check in was perfect, they were even able to let me check in early after arriving in the morning. Would definitely recommend the apartment.
Despite only specifying that the apartment would be cleaned weekly during the stay, someone came into the apartment several times during my 10 days there. I first noticed because I washed a load of clothes, including the towels I had used, and when I returned to the apartment the washing machine door was open, the towels gone, and some of my wet clothes on the floor. Multiple other times I noticed the trash bag had been replaced, even though a spare bag had been left when I checked in and clear instructions on how to get rid of the trash twice a week, so it was completely unnecessary for someone to be coming in. That did make it a bit difficult to be comfortable in the apartment.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom Vermeer apartment for a week.
Good central location, high ceiling in very spacious living room, great view of canal from living room. Decent kitchen.
Tiny bedrooms that you cannot open a suitcase in, especially the second bedroom up steep steps in claustrophobic low attic style. No air conditioning in either of the two bedrooms although the whole apartment is supposed to be air conditioned. Basic bathroom with no space for toiletries, and only tiny basic toiletries supplied. Lighting too dark at night in living room. Host did not make us feel welcome. On check out, no one was there to help with luggage.
